Ti-ligers:The next two pages show some very rare examples of true ti-ligers, that is, the offspring of a tiger and ligress. These are in private ownership within a behavioural studies programme. |

Note the unusual striping and spotting on the offspring; it occurs on both faces and bodies. As they are 3/4 tiger their characteristics are more those of a tiger than a lion. | |
